Background

Rev Dr Hanlon is currently Assistant Priest with Caboolture Catholic parish. Prior to his ordination Fr Hanlon had a diverse employment background in clerical/administrative positions in various departments of the Commonwealth Public Service. He was ordained as a Catholic priest from Pius XII Seminary, Brisbane in 1984 and then served in various parishes in the Brisbane Archdiocese until 1994. From 1995 until 2001, Fr Hanlon held the position of Lecturer in Church History at Banyo Seminary. He is a current member of Aust. And NZ Association of Medieval and Early Modern Studies (ANZAMEMS) and is President of the Brisbane Catholic Historical Society.
